Manufacturing Controller
Reporting to the CFO the Controller's primary responsibility is to coordinate, administer and control the accounting operations of the Company, external/internal financial reporting, tax compliance and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of period financial statements for both internal and external (SEC) financial reporting.
Compile financial information used to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, input/upload journal entries, and document all transactions for the company.
Analysis of period trial balance, balance sheet and income statement.
Assist with Preparation of Board of Director financial package.
Prepare audit-ready workpaper reconciliations on balance sheet accounts for the company. Analysis of GL balances. Maintain audit-ready workpapers.
. Provide support to outside auditors for annual corporate tax return, quarterly estimates and other misc. tax filings
Review of certain tasks performed by staff members, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and 401(k) compliance.
Other schedules and analysis as needed including fringe benefit analysis and
additional audit requests such as P&L and Balance Sheet fluctuation analysis.
Requirements:
Seven
years experience in general accounting required with minimum three years experience in a Public Accounting Firm.
Experience in the Manufacturing Industry
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to communicate well with all levels of management, and external auditors
SEC reporting experience a plus

Compensation includes a competitive salary in the $150,000
range as well as a comprehensive benefits program.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
