Summary:
Conduct a variety of analyses focused on real estate strategies in support of Hobbs Brook Management.
Schedule & Location:
This position is exempt, office-based position in Waltham, MA.
Travel required to other markets and owned properties as needed, locally.
Leads the development of near-term and long-term real estate strategy for Hobbs Brooks Global portfolio through data analyses in pricing, discount, occupancy, and other internal and external assumptions.
Responsible for collection, input, manipulation and aggregation of large data sets from multiple sources to identify key issues, cost trends, and opportunities.
This includes the preparation and manipulation of outputs from pivot tables, comparison tables, reports and sensitivity analysis.
Analysis of financial impact of real estate transactions using net present value, IRR, book impact, and company processes.
Reviews the accuracy of the information provided and responds to requests from management.
Oversee the budget process and preparation of the annual strategic plan for each property.
Prepares financial and other analyses across a range of deliverables, including market plans, benchmarks, scenario models, financial underwriting, trend analysis, transactions and development summaries, dashboards and reports.
Facilitates the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.
Conducts, synthesizes and presents key market research on industry best practice, benchmarks, comparables and other issues of concern.
Review periodic internal reports and respond to information requests from the property manager.
Required Education:
Bachelors DegreeHighly Preferred Education:
Finance, Accounting, Economics; emphasis in real estate preferred Master's degree, MBA or CFA is a benefit Required Work
Experience:
7-10 years of related real estate experience is requiredRequired Skills:
Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities Solid business judgement and excel at working in a fast paced, dynamic environment; superb customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate and analyze real state of deal terms, including generating financial analysis (e.
g.
, discounted cash flows) Understand general real estate trends and individual property markets/submarkets The hiring range for this position is $114,300 - $164,200 annually.
The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
