As a Global Product Manager, you are the owner of chemical based refinish products that are adjacent to collision and commercial paint products. This role will lead the global product platform strategies, global processes towards portfolio management, complexity reduction, new product development and launch throughout Refinish Business covering both commercial and collision segments. Do you possess the ability to lead, influence, and empower outside of line management? If so, read on! Key Responsibilities Develop product platform strategies, define product life cycles and future development directions Consolidate market trends of the different product categories, customer insights, technological progress, and local competition. Build a network of Technical Front-End leaders that understand the opportunities for alignment across the region and can also strongly support innovation. Navigate technologies to develop platform rationalization plan, including converting external technologies to an existing internal technology, and consolidating similar technologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent work experience with 10
years of shown experience in product management or technical development and 5
years of proven experience in automotive aftermarket managing refinish allied products. Proficient in product marketing including life cycle management, new product launch, portfolio rationalization and long-term product planning. Global travel to PPG technical and production sites as well as customer sites 25%.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
