The successful candidate will leverage their extensive Healthcare Payer industry knowledge and sales expertise to help grow sales of CareScout s suite of clinical assessment solutions. As a director of new business, your role is key in creating new customers and maintaining or increasing market share with current customers. This role is ideal for a person who thrives by taking on unique business challenges and enjoys contributing directly to the bottom line of the business.Direct experience selling $1M AAV deals and up to Healthcare Payers is a requirement. To be successful, you should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of CRM software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Ultimately, the Director must demonstrate great customer service skills, strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and credibly influence people at all levels. This role will report to the Head of Sales.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has the responsibility for the successful marketing and sale of CareScout s solutions which includes our 35,000 national nurse assessment network You will drive top line production to hit desired sales goals and required mix of product sales through new and existing channels and in designated markets. Your focus will be on selling direct to Fortune 1000 organizations. You will develop and nurture new pipeline prospects, drive the sales process from initial proposal/RFP through final decision. This includes (1) working with internal partners/Subject Matter Experts to write/review the proposal/RFP response (2) acting as the single point of contact with the broker/client (3) oversee the creation of the finalist presentation and (4) position CareScout to win the sale. Your contributions will contribute to the effectiveness of the sales team by sharing best practices and effective sales ideas, as well as fostering a shared commitment to winning. In addition, you will. Collaborate with CareScout team members to solve customer problems and maintain ownership to ensure customer needs are met Effectively position contract underwriting solutions and manage the relationship, productivity, and pricing structure with customers Regularly communicate to internal and external stakeholders on the progress of initiatives employed on sales activities Ability to create PowerPoint decks/presentations for external and internal usage Effectively communicate project requirements and expectations to the team Assist with identifying potential new business opportunities from existing client projects Negotiate and finalize new contracts and renewals Defines and orchestrates sales strategy to maximize revenue capabilities Work w/internal team to assure account is being serviced as per the contract Set strategic vision for accounts Up-to-date understanding of the industrys consumer behavior and competitor services Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients Ability to use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and analyze performance data Ability to strategize, communicate and execute solutions to customer related issuesADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Document all activity in the CRM system (Salesforce) i.e., appointments, sales calls, follow-ups, call campaigns and sales opportunities etc. Work closely with Marketing and the Implementation team to build brand awareness and drive employer engagement YOUR QUALIFICATIONS 5-7 years experience selling to Healthcare Payers, working within the Medicaid and Medicare Healthcare Marketplace Tangible network of potential customers in Healthcare Payer business and clinical operations Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, or equivalent work experience Very strong time management skills Excellent presentation skills - small and large (50+) audiences Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Strong prospecting, negotiating, closing and follow-up skills Quickly adapts and excels in a changing environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Meaningful experience in the procurement and contracting of Healthcare payersWHY CARESCOUT?
