We seek an enthusiastic Finance professional with excellent analytical, managerial, and communication skills to join the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team supporting the Chief Financial Officer's (CFO) Office.
The Finance Director, Corporate FP&A will lead reporting activities, including trend analysis and monthly reporting, and forecasting for total company down to Earnings Per Share (EPS).
In this role the Finance Director will own the process and coordination of all internal financial roll ups, reporting total company numbers directly to the Company Leadership Team (CLT).
You and your team will be responsible for the Weekly Sales and Orders reporting, Monthly Forecast, Annual Operating Plan, and Strategic Plan (STRAP).
To deliver an excellent product for the CLT and get the messaging across, you will engage with and provide guidance to the business groups and divisions.
In preparation for the quarterly earnings call, your team will play a critical role for the CFO office supporting activities like the finalization of current quarter results (including Flash process), supplemental reporting (Rev by Industry & Geo), and writing/reviewing the CFO/CEO Scripts, Q&A documents, press release, and other communication related to the Investor Call.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Perform reporting & analytics related to the following actual and forecasted financial areas:
Revenue, Bookings, EBITA, EBITA Growth, Adjusted EPS impact analysis.
Lead monthly reviews of total company financial results with VP of Corporate Finance & Sr.
Director of Corporate FP&A Provide guidance and communicate requirements to the Group/Division FP&A teams for monthly forecasts, quarter end Flash process, Annual Operating Plan and STRAP cycle.
Manage and develop a team of high performing financial analysts.
Provide reporting and analytics (Including Revenue by Industry, Geography, and Product mix) that go into the Earnings release package.
On a weekly basis, report quarter to date Sales and Orders status to the CLT, and FX impact on the full year Outlook to the CFO using latest FX spot rates.
Partner with Corporate Functions like Accounting, Investor Relations, Strategy, and Global Shared Services to support the Earnings cycle, Board of Directors reporting, Investor Day, Corporate Leadership Team meetings, Division Presidents Meetings, and other ad hoc reporting or meetings.
Provide support for acquisition integration activities, including managing the accretion model templates and participate in reviews of key acquisitions.
Provide recommendations to enhance the current reporting tools.
Lead automation and productivity initiatives related to financial reporting and data harmonization.
Develop reporting solutions that 'raise the bar' in terms of analytical insight and user experience.
Partner with the Financial Systems and Consolidations team to increase the utilization of CMR/PLN in all Corporate FP&A reports limiting the need of manual consolidations.
Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting and analyses as required.
Drive continuous process improvements in corporate FP&A deliverables.
Minimum Education and
Experience:
10 years relevant work experience in finance roles with hands-on experience in providing financial analysis to drive key business decisions.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Economics.
Advanced degrees and certifications preferred (MBA, CPA, etc.
).
Minimum of 2 years experience in managing and developing high performing teams.
Strong communication skills with ability to work with key members of the corporate leadership team and the finance leadership team.
Strong Business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate and articulate business impact in financial terms.
Strong Excel and modeling skills.
Be willing to learn newest visualization tools and technologies to transform financial data and analysis.
Strong skills and advanced knowledge of CMR.
Working knowledge of HFM and PLN a plus.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.
Exceptional customer focus.
Recommended Skills Accounting Analytical Automation Commercial Awareness Communication Corporate Finance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
