Senior Manager Revenue Accounting

Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting local to the Waltham, Massachusetts area.
This position will operate on a hybrid model, so the ideal candidate will be able to commute to the office several times a week.
This candidate will be responsible for managing a revenue team of 6 individuals, so they must have strong management experience in a previous role.
This team is responsible for overseeing the order to cash process, revenue recognition, invoicing, and order reviews.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills as they will be responsible for communicating with several internal stakeholders and team members to ensure proper processes are followed and to educate all internal points of contact on all revenue related responsibilities and questions.
This person must have experience with ASC 606 experience in recent roles and must have previous experience managing revenue for a company who works with over $150 million per year.
- ASC 805 experience for Mergers and Acquisitions- Salesforce and NetSuite Experience- Experience with Software Revenue - Mergers and acquisitions experience - Tax experience- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting - Must be local to Boston (or open to relocating to Boston on their own accord) and comfortable working onsite hybrid (1-2 days/week).

years of experience in a Revenue management role.
- Experience with SaaS revenue streams (Experience with Software or Hardware revenue streams would be a plus here as well)- Software ASC 606 revenue recognition experience.
- ERP system experience, NetSuite preferred.
o Oracle or SAP experience is sufficient.
- At least 2 years of experience managing a team of 3
individuals.
