The OpportunityUnder the general supervision of the Director of Employee and Labor Relations, the Labor Relations Specialist will provide support for the administration and maintenance of the Company's labor relations activities.
Research matters related to contract interpretation, negotiation planning, application of company policies, grievances and other Employee and Labor Relations subjects.
Respond to inquiries from the lines of business and provide guidance and direction as appropriate regarding Company policies and procedures.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of grievance hearings, NLRB proceedings and federal/state discrimination and unemployment claims.
Responsible for maintaining union rosters, administering union leadership releases, scheduling, and participating in monthly Joint Labor/Management Committees.
Maintain the department SharePoint and provide monthly reports on Employee and Labor Relations activities.
Act as note taker in interim bargaining meetings and provide support as needed.
Identify and implement process improvements.
About You A Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources related area and 3
years of business or human resources related experience, or equivalent work experience An advanced degree/credits is preferred.
Knowledge of Company personnel policies and procedures, Union contracts, and special agreements and the ability to interpret and apply the provisions of same.
Knowledge of current trends in Human Resource Management including applicable Federal and State regulations.
Must be proficient in common software applications.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Supervisory experience of bargaining unit employees is preferred.
- Must have a valid, clean, state-issued driver's license Moderate travel within the service territory is required.
More Information#LI-NK1Annual Salary$65,000- $77,000Salary commensurate with experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
