About The Role The Vice President of Electric Asset Management Strategy will lead the strategic direction and management of the Electric Assets for the New England region.
The VP will be responsible for the strategic thought leadership and associated change management of identifying, developing, and deploying the asset management strategy across the NE Electric territory.
The VP will exhibit detailed understanding of federal and state regulation and policies regarding electrification enabling them to project future asset growth needs.
The VP with deliver an asset management strategy that meet our customers' needs, achieving high standards of safety, health, environmental, security regulatory and quality compliance.
The VP will propose innovative and radical, yet consumer-affordable, solutions to ensuring customers have reliable electricity supplies as they electrify.
Key Accountabilities As part of this critical role your accountabilities will include:
Being responsible for the strategic thought leadership and associated change management of identifying, developing and deploying the asset management strategy across the NE Electric territory.
Delivering an asset management strategy that meet our customers' needs, achieving high standards of safety, health, environmental, security regulatory and quality compliance.
Propose innovative and radical, yet consumer-affordable, solutions to ensuring customers have reliable electricity supplies as they electrify.
Driving digital innovation and adoption across the NE Electric asset base, collaborating with partners to ensure maximum returns for National Grid.
Building engineering and policy guiderails for our electric distribution and transmission systems, including the translation of regulatory needs into an effective set of asset policy responses.
Creating a holistic asset standardization strategy which delivers tangible project delivery, financial and risk management improvements.
About You We are looking for experienced candidates who possess the following:
A Detailed understanding of federal and state regulation and policies regarding electrification.
Are a seasoned asset strategy professional, able to demonstrate commercial return from strategies delivered.
The ability to translate high level strategic concepts into pragmatic day to day solutions.
Strong experience of developing and deploying strategy and policy in a complex business area, within a regulated environment.

Base Salary between $216,000 - $324,000 per year.
Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
