The primary responsibility of the Commercial Wholesale Project Quoting Representative is to facilitate the quoting associated with Commercial Wholesale Bids and Projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Commercial Wholesale Project Quoting includes:
Addressing Quotes related to bid requests submitted by:
Commercial Project Manager Qualifying Requests to quote by:
Organizing requests by Bid Date Locating Material specifications Review Plans, Specs and determine feasibility -If Feasible, submit plans, schedule, and elevations to Commercial Take Off Specialist -If not, review with Sales, Commercial Project Manager and/or GC project manager Quoting:
Provide quote based on specifications, take off provided by Commercial Take Off Specialist Provide material details for review Present opportunities for vendor discounts based on project to the CPM for consideration Quote distribution:
Distribute Quote to the appropriate associate:
Branch Manager/Outside Sales/Commercial Project Manager to review and send to the customer Quote change requests:
Once the customer has the quote, the following may be required -Changes made - quantities, spec changes -Additional quotes -Documentation as needed (drawings, structural data etc.
) Tracking/Reporting:
Update Tracking Documentation Furnish reports on quotes entered as needed Report activity in Sales Force Other Skills and Abilities:
Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment Effectively communicate with others at all levels Ability to prioritize tasks and work quickly and efficiently Expert level knowledge of related products Ability to work with and understand plans, take off's & window schedules Working knowledge on quoting and ordering from Wholesale vendors Work Hours:

This role supports working from a Branch setting or equivalent, or a Lansing Home Office.
