Senior Digital Writer

In this role, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging copy, shaping Polen's digital content strategy, and enhancing our brand's digital presence.
The primary responsibilities of this position will be to concept, create and maintain high-quality content across our digital marketing channels to effectively market Polen Capital's brand, capabilities and investment strategies.
The successful candidate will write differentiated copy to build awareness and deepen engagement with key target audiences activated on the website, social media, email, paid advertising and search marketing mediums.
The Senior Digital Writer needs to demonstrate proven expertise and experience writing about financial services/capital markets across digital marketing channels and possess a strong understanding of UX best practices.
Responsibilities Write, edit and maintain high-quality, engaging, differentiated copy consistent with Polen's brand and tone of voice for the Polen Capital website, emails, paid media, and social media / LinkedIn.
Steward the concepting, project management and creation of copy through all stages including managing compliance approvals and recommending process improvements.
Partner closely with marketing team members and subject matter experts to distill complex investment topics into easily understandable, reader-friendly content, ensuring copy adheres to brand guidelines, compliance standards, and best practices.
Conduct content audits and provide recommendations including versioning for different audience segments (including but not limited to wirehouse advisors, RIAs and institutional segments), and repackaging/reformatting assets to engage users utilizing interactive content infographics, video teasers, audio files, etc.
Partner with Digital Experience Manager to design and execute integrated customer experience campaigns to drive traffic, digital engagement and high value sales interactions throughout the client journey.
Identify and execute on personalization opportunities, demonstrating deep understanding of target audience segments and ensuring unique experiences and tailored messaging.
Provide expertise on digital content industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices enhance planning and optimizing end-to-end campaigns.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
5-8 years' experience as a digital writer, with 2-3 years in the financial services or investment industry.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
Strategic and creative thinker, with hands on experience writing differentiated copy for website campaign landing pages, emails, social media posts, banner ads, etc.
Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research with content management systems (CMS) familiarity and basic HTML.
Strong organizational management, collaboration, and team communication with the ability to connect dots to ensure delivery of key business objectives while meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
