POSITION SUMMARY The Vehicle Attendant is responsible for serving rentals from Landbird New England, engaging in all aspects of vehicle preparation, delivery, and inspection.
The Vehicle Attendant ensures all vehicles are clean, maintained, relocated, and safe in advance of all rentals.
COMPENSATION $18-20 per hour / 40 hours per week minimum Approximate minimum salary $720-800/week or $37,440-$41,600/year Up to 10 earned vacation days per year RESPONSIBILITIES Transporting Vehicles:
Drive vehicles as directed to remote locations up to 3 hours from the office site Vehicle Preparation:
Clean interior and exterior of vehicle, service fluids, and inspect vehicle Maintain Vehicles:
Monitor vehicles for potential issues; transport vehicles to local vendors Organize Vehicle Lot:
Keep the vehicles, supplies, and work areas organized and tidy Customer Support:
Show customers vehicle features and assist with rental pick ups and drop offs REQUIREMENTS Valid driver's license with safe driving record Background check Reference check Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing required, Bilingual English-Spanish a plus No smoking inside any vehicle or office NECESSARY SKILLS Parking large vans; Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance duties; Attention to detail on inspections and data entry; Customer service with customers; Ability to efficiently work independently and with a team; Ability to lift up to 45 lbs; Ability to vacuum vehicle interiors, which often involves crawling ABOUT LANDBIRD www.
