. The role is for a Senior Product Manager who excels at "inbound" product management; gather customer requirements, articulate the use case, prioritize the roadmap, come up with the requirements, design a mockup for engineering and then collaborate with them to produce outstanding product!
Right now this Product Management organization cannot deliver fast enough or with high enough quality, thus engineering is delivering without effective Product Management direction. Do you have the smarts, assertiveness, powers of persuasive and pragmatism to collaborate well with engineer? Do you have some engineering background that will enable you to communicate with engineer in an intelligent way?
Additionally, this hire will need to be open minded to new technologies and have a breath of Product Management experience (as opposed to a siloed methodology). He/she will need to be able to grasp data visualization so the presentation of the data is highly effective.
The intention is for this hire is to advance into running the inbound product management team in short order. It is a highly visible role.
As a Senior Product Manager you develop and manage delivery to the product life cycle to ensure product satisfies customer needs. You discover, develop and implement product use cases, requirements/user-stories and prioritize them into a product version. This may include fully understanding the target personas, their challenges and needs, and understanding development constraints to create an optimal solution. A strong understanding of software technologies, an ability to keep abreast of new technologies and familiarity with data visualization techniques are crucial to success.
Essential Functions:
As a Senior Product Manager you are part of a high growth software team that delivers value to Fortune 500 IT organizations and supports sales and revenue generation goals. The team is tasked to:
- Discover use-cases, define user-stories, prioritize and write acceptance criteria
- Create conceptual UX mockups, data visualization and dashboards to be used by customers
- Establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena
- Maintain product ownership working closely with engineering to control content, understand engineering team velocity, and prioritize and accept deliverables
- The tasks this individual is responsible are often unstructured and the issues addressed are less defined requiring new perspectives and creative approaches
- This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation
- Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions
- This individual must work effectively with internal and external multiple level employees, i.e. Staff to Vice President
- Limited supervision and direction is provided, as this individual can operate and drive results and set priorities independently
- Ability to demonstrate and articulate complex engineering and system architecture is crucial to success
- The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert
- To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through regular leadership and influencing others
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams
- Prior experience in data visualization and creating dashboard is a major plus
- Demonstrate understanding of target customers
- Ability to produce use-cases that are customer focused rather than system focused
- Ability to interview and discover customer use-cases, their priority and articulate them to engineering
- Ability to contribute to product vision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Understanding of infrastructure management especially storage is an advantage
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience is required; 9 to 11 years of experience is preferred
- A Bachelor of Science degree,
Engineering degree, or equivalent experience is required
- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
