Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Java - Waltham, MA
Our client creates large scale proprietary databases of information on companies and people by using scalable systems. They employ big data technologies to extract accurate information from tens of millions of websites and other electronic proprietary sources. Their databases contain information on some 95M individuals and 7M companies in the US. They license this information to sales organizations, marketing departments, recruiters and small companies.

In addition, the team collaborates with the Data Generation team to explore and implement ways to improve the quality and quantity of data that thousands of our customers see every day. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Product Delivery team, you'll get to explore and work with cutting-edge technologies and a fantastically rich (and tremendously large) data set. The Requirements
6
years industry experience, B.S. in
computer
Science or equivalent
You love writing high-volume server applications (front end and back end)
A strong knowledge of Java & willingness to work the full stack
Written multi-threaded or distributed programs. You know how to make your code scale
Experience with: J2EE, JMS, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, Junit, JavaScript (JQuery), HTML/CSS
Familiarity with Hadoop, Solr/Lucene
Good presentation skills. You should be able to talk intelligently and passionately about the interesting challenges your projects presentedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
