Join a fully equipped coating facility specializing in the design and manufacture of vacuum deposited optical thin film optics and work with a wide variety of coatings designed and manufactured to specific customer specifications for applications in the ultraviolet, visible and near and far infrared spectrum.
Shall participate in continually expanding and improving process equipment and techniques at the cutting edge of thin film technology.
Types of projects:
Filters which selectively reflect, transmit or absorb visible or infrared energy which selectively reject radiation of certain wavelengths and pass other wavelengths via absorption and or reflection.
Multiple layers of inorganic oxide materials and transmit restricted ranges of energy for dielectric applications such as notch filters, short-pass filters and long-pass filters.
Clear and absorptive filter glass coated with a dielectric multilayer coating that rejects energy outside of the pass band: shorter in wavelength or longer in wavelength and reflectance limiting by interference of harmonics.
