Product Marketing Manager, Channel Enablement

As the Product Marketing Manager for Channel Enablement, you will be responsible defining and executing channel enablement solutions for various channels (e.g., Franchise, Dealers, Distributors, National Organization, Associations, UK/ROW, etc.) for the full breath of Constant Contact products, services and solutions.
You will demonstrate the ability to gain deep knowledge and understanding of the channels you support and their target markets served.
You will understand what your channels need to be successful and with that define the framework, methodologies and programs that ensure the channel is successful and fully engaged. You will serve as the single point of contact for the channels and channel support organizations proving them the knowledge and motivation they need to maximize the effectiveness of the go-to-market plans.
You will create effective messaging, positioning and sales tools for products that are understood and used and will evolve the enablement solutions based on field feedback. You will stay abreast of marketing trends to drive topics for though leadership content, webinars and white papers.
Our ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience working with various channels in a SAAS environment, and can speak to examples of having developed and launched channel enablement programs successfully. You are a self-starter and are able to deliver on projects after being given high-level objectives and an appropriate amount of guidance. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.
What You'll Do:
Total immersion in the channels you will support to identify and develop the right information and tools that support the selling process
Work with your channel partners to determine objectives and requirements to design and develop the enablement programs that maps to their expected results
Act as an advocate for the channels you support, making sure they have what they need, when they need it, in the format that works for them
Market intelligence - be the expert on your channel, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them
What You Already Know:
Creative thinker, excellent listener and communicator
Very strong written communication skills
4 - 6+ years of software product marketing experience with demonstrated experience developing channel focused materials
Bachelor's in business or marketing
Willing to travel 10%
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
Extensive experience with designing, creating and launching enablement programs and projects from the ground up
Ability to communicate and translate technical issues for business users
Candidates must provide examples of channel specific marketing materials they have created.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
