Channel Account Manager

We are looking for a Channel Account Manager to drive customer and revenue growth through reseller and other partner relationships. You will initiate and develop new business relationships that will accelerate growth in customer adoption and work with Constant Contact sales management to expand business in the current partner base and further develop the overall channel partner program in North America. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Partners.
What You'll Do:
Define, execute, and own your piece of the channel sales strategy in conjunction with the regional sales plan to ensure the overall sales goals of the region are achieved.
Lead partnership development initiatives that are consistent with the company's overall strategy in the small business market (SMB) online marketing market
Identify partner sales opportunities with the potential to generate a significant number of paying accounts and work with the partner marketing team to determine an effective channel sales strategy to exploit this potential and then actively manage the strategy to generate revenue for the Company.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful partner launch and ongoing success.
Attend regional marketing and sales events to support existing partners and recruit new sales partners and represent Constant Contact as a leader in fulfilling the marketing needs of small organizations.
Serve as a 'trusted advisor' to management and executive teams of important reseller partners and develop reseller focus, commitment, and investment in Constant Contact
Lead the performance reporting on and analytics of key partner agreements
Support and improve periodic business processes, including yearly planning, budgeting and quarterly forecasting along with related cross-group coordination and communication
Identify the data, metrics and trends that have the most impact on the business and make recommendations to influence those metrics and trends
Drive the process and communications that facilitate the execution of existing and future partner agreements
Improving partner satisfaction and experience with Constant Contact
Drive channel readiness and execution targeted towards a prioritized set of channel partners.
Have direct accountability for the success of strategic reseller partner accounts, related sales productivity, and for maintaining strong partner satisfaction and performance.
What You Already Know:
A proven track record of excellence in partner management and software sales experience, with a minimum of 2-4 years of Partner Channel management and software sales experience. Preferably with a SaaS software background. 4-6 years of overall sales experience.
Experience in SME/SMB market and online marketing market preferred
Excellent relationship building and proven ability for establishing business plans with new business partners.
Strong ability to manage and operate in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment with strong hands on attitude.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, creativity, organizational and communication skills with a strong partnering orientation
Detail oriented and thorough, with the ability to connect to the "big picture" and understand key trends and levers that drive the business
Aptitude for solving complex business problems and an ability to distill and communicate status and results across the business and to senior business and financial executives.
A proven track record in building highly effective interpersonal business relationships is critical
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, reprioritizing as necessary to align with business needs
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communications.
Willing to travel as needed to meet goals and objectives


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
