The Senior Digital Analyst will join the Digital Analytics team in support of their diverse measurement, reporting and analytical needs. Working across nearly all parts of Constant Contact, the Digital Analytics team is on a journey to extract meaningful information from the explosion of data available in efforts to bring in more customers, more revenue, and kick-a$$ product features. We will be the change agents for competing on analytics, bringing data driven decision making and a rigorous testing methodology to every corner of the company.
This individual will be a key member of the team, acting as a subject matter expert in all things digital analytics, and not afraid to face big challenges in a complex business environment. You will not only dive deep to find the answers, but craft meaningful and articulate recommendations that can be discussed and acted upon with your peers.
Major Responsibilities:
Be the lead digital analytics "story-teller" - Translate complex data & test results into clear, engaging, and actionable summaries to be shared at all levels across the company
Be the resident web analytics expert (implementation support, reporting and analysis)
Become a trusted digital analytics advisor to the organization; evangelize our process and body of work through organized presentations (lunch-and-learns, operational reviews, testing roadshows)
Enable others to use data and analytics to measure, optimize, and grow their own programs
Work with internal clients to understand not-yet-released product features and map out KPIs and additional metrics critical to measuring success
Provide strategic input on site design changes and UX enhancements based on the data we've collected, reported and analyzed
Assist in the development of an A/B/n and Multivariate testing roadmap / calendar
Promote best practices for digital testing and optimization; research, discover and share key drivers of online conversion
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (Preferably in a quantitative discipline; business, math, statistics, computer science)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience using leading web analytics & optimization tools (Omniture, Webtrends, Coremetrics, Google Analytics, Test & Target) - Omniture a plus
Minimum 2 years of experience going beyond report & dashboard development; has experience developing an actionable analytics process that drives business change
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (or similar i.e. Tableau) for data manipulation and visualization
Proficiency with SQL for data analysis; able to write basic queries and understands database concepts
Desired Skills:

Curious, self-motivated thinker; always asks why and is frustrated until the answer is clear
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with senior leadership
Prior experience with predictive and statistical modelling techniques
Prior experience with digital marketing channel analysis (PPC, SEO, Display, Social)
Prior experience with eCommerce sites (Cart/Checkout optimization, up-sell/cross-sell, recommendations)
Prior experience with tag management solutions for deploying 3rd party marketing and tracking tags


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
