Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows XP, 7, and MS Office.
- Experience supporting users via phone, email, remote desktop software
- Experience supporting mobile devices
The opportunity starts as a contract, but will be converted to perm. This allows for both a quick joining to the team, and long-term stability. The manager empowers his employees - many of the current members on the team expressed their excitement for working with the manager. There is also quite a bit of upward mobility in this role.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the effective day-to-day operations of the IT helpdesk via phone, email, instant messaging, and face-to-face. You'll create, update, and resolve tickets and contribute to knowledgebase content. You'll work with Tier I, II, and III teams to resolve technical issues.
You'll work with desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, VPNs, basic phone setup and cell phone initialization.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
