Supervisor, Provider Relations - BOSTON AREA
Supervise and coordinate the operations of the provider relations team across MA. Direct the workflow of the provider relations specialists for best quality and efficiency as well as adherence to compliance policy. You will train and develop an effective team focused on pro-active collaboration with provider issues and solutions. Provider Relations Specialists will work primarily in the field and supervisor will coordinate and participate as needed in scheduled and unscheduled meetings with providers to conduct orientations, train on health plan policies and procedures, deliver materials or inquire about contracting with the health plan. Oversight will include assisting in the resolution of claims payment and provider set-up issues, attending health plan sponsored provider functions and providing input as policies and procedures are revised.
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree, 3
years of provider relations, marketing, customer service and/or claims processing/billing experience in a managed care environment. Supervisory or lead experience preferred along with knowledge of managed care and state Medicaid program guidelines.
Licenses/Certifications: Current state drivers license.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
