Job Purpose : Lead overall store service experience and operations with responsibility for achieving sales, payroll and service results. Hire, develop and inspire a top-performing store team who will drive the business and exceed customer expectations. Champion The Paper Store company initiatives, ensuring timely execution of short and long term strategies and action plans. Hold team accountable for upholding The Paper Store mission statement, standards, and policies.
Key
Responsibilities:
Role model World Class Service and provide consistent coaching to all employees to ensure G.U.ES.T. service behaviors are being performed
Manage and deliver sales, supply, and payroll budgets on a weekly/monthly basis
Execute strategy to drive sales and build customer loyalty through store programs including: Hallmark Crown Rewards Program, TPS Email Club, and Store Events
Capture accurate and valid customer information at the Point of Sale to support company's new customer acquisition strategy: Including Hallmark Crown Rewards Card sign-ups and Email capture.
Attract, train and retain quality talent
Ability to resolve conflicts, problem solve and handle complex conversations
Ensure the team performs effective sales floor supervision to drive sales while maintaining exceptional customer service
Inspire and motivate the team everyday with positive feedback and ongoing Paper Store recognition programs
Maximize team and individual performance through consistent and ongoing feedback
Train and motivate all associates through ongoing programs in sales, customer service, product knowledge, and the Hallmark Customer Satisfaction Index Program to continue to improve Overall Satisfaction and Service Experience scores
Communicate effectively to create an environment where all associates are treated fairly with dignity and respect
Ensure all means of communication are acted upon in a timely fashion
Build positive working relationships with District Managers, peers, merchandisers and corporate partners to clarify priorities, share business ideas and best practices
Deliver a visually inspiring environment at all times by optimizing receiving and visual teams to ensure timely replenishment and recovery of backroom and sales floor as well as overall cleanliness of the store
College degree preferred or equivalent job experience

Years management experience in specialty retail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS Systems
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, holidays, with a minimum of 45
hours per week and occasional 6 day work week
Ability to adapt to, embrace and lead change
Ability to be mobile on a sales floor for extended periods of time
Ability to motivate and inspire high performing teams
Possess the resourcefulness to be a motivated and organized self-starter who embodies the self-confidence to problem solve, operate strategically, and act as a team builder
Professional attire, demeanor and appearance required
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 50 lbs., while utilizing appropriate safety techniques

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
