Infertility Nurse Coordinator-Waltham, MA
We are currently seeking an experienced IVF/Fertility Nurse (RN) to work in Waltham, Massachusetts.
A snapshot of
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all infertility diagnostic tests and treatment plans between patients and Physicians
- Telephone triage with patients regarding patient medication, treatment plans and test results
- Care of patient through ovulation induction, egg freezing, sperm analysis, ivf and oocyte donation
- Patient Education on treatment protocols, medications and infertility procedures
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in all ivf procedures
- Responsible for the ongoing communication between the Physician and the patient
- Assist with Retrievals and Transfers, pre and post op care
- Maintain Patient Charting, testing and flow sheets
- Physician assistance in examinations and various procedures including
Requirements and
Qualifications:
- BSN Preferred
- Valid State Licensure
- CPR/ACLS/BCLS Certification
- M-F 40 hr work week with rotation to weekends per unit needs
- Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures related to fertility
- Skilled in charting and documenting nursing actions
- Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
- Computer literate and keyboard skilled
