Summary


Serve as Senior Application Developer in Eldercare Management & Care support services business division



  • Responsible for supporting business needs by developing solutions, documentation and assistance tools

  • Completes application development by adhering to SDLC; Starting from requirement gathering till implementation

  • Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development, emerging new technologies and off-the-shelve alternatives

  • Oversees development, testing and manage changes for supported applications including the managing and distribution of team assignments

  • Translate simple to complex user stories into functional and actionable software. Create visual representations of logical business processes

  • Diagnose, Troubleshoot and fix production problems as they arise by brainstorming best possible solution understanding impact of system downtime and SLA

  • Collaborate with teams that are geographically dispersed at different locations and time zones


Basic Qualifications



  • BS in computer science or equivalent certifications

  • Understanding of Health care or insurance business, Products, service and Operations

  • 6
    years in developing applications

  • 4
    years of Experience in programming languages specifically C# .NET 3.5/4.5, web programming using ASP.NET 3.5, CSS, HTML, JQuery and AJAX toolsets

  • 4
    years of Experience in Data technologies using ADO.NET, Entity Framework and LINQ to SQL

  • 4
    years of Experience in SQL Server 2012+

  • 4
    years of Experience in Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall project methodologies

  • 4
    years of Experience in building web applications using Visual Studio .NET

  • 2
    years of Experience in developing and supporting RESTful Services, Windows Communication Foundation

  • Good understanding of Software Engineering principles

  • Ability to work well and flexible with changing priorities

  • Continuous Process improvement mindset


Preferred
Qualifications:



  • Experience in designing and developing mobility solutions for iOS and Android

  • Development experience in the following technologies:
    Html5, Javascript, AngularJS, React, Bootstrap, Oauth, CSS3

  • Knowledge of Insurance and Eldercare Management Operations (Long Term Care)

  • Knowledge of data visualization & analytics tools

  • Knowledge of cross cutting concerns like Enterprise Library framework

  • Knowledge of owasp top 10

  • Knowledge of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2013, DevOps


Internal title will be Application Development Manager


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
