Principal QA Engineer

Job Description:
The Principal Quality Assurance Engineer functions at an expert level and will act as a technical or team leader, possessing a high level of analytical skills and ability to solve highly complex problems. This position leads the effort in developing the overall testing strategy and will have extensive latitude for independent judgment, acting as consultant to senior management. The position oversees the projects related to the quality testing of product deliverables from Construction Phase forward. The position will act as a subject matter expert on quality matters for others within the Engineering organization. As such the Principal Quality Assurance Engineer must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and effectively work with team members in remote offices while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Will use creativity in developing resolutions to complex quality testing and technology problems, using judgment within the defined Agile Scrum development methodology and quality testing practices.
Testing lead on significant development projects; providing critical quality assurance expertise (testing approaches & methodologies, test plan/case development and execution) and innovation in setting project direction, including but not limited to quality standards, platform/feature analysis to ensure testability and input to senior level management on scheduling and resource allocation.
Oversees the quality of product deliverables from Construction Phase forward
Provide critical technical expertise and innovation for project direction, owning the accountability of the project delivery
Review task estimates, efforts, and resource requirements for assigned projects and update engineering management on appropriate schedule, task, and quality guidelines for the project
Provides and ensures excellence in product design and implementation with regards to efficiency and scalability
Participates in design meetings, code reviews and acceptance meetings; executes on improvements received from team's recommendations on report deviations
Certification of complicated defects and ensure accurate delivery of major enhancements to resolve customer problems
Effectively document quality issues and results confirming accurate resolution.
Maintain the integrity of assigned components throughout the life cycle within the integrated, technical environment.
Lead testing assessment reviews and release exit criteria within the organization, able to work across functional areas (Services, Support etc.)
Work effectively with members of the Software Engineering organizations to finalize and verify quality approaches/plans and test metrics


Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science/Engineering or a closely related field
5 years of in-depth progressively responsible quality testing experience in a web-based environment (including cloud based software-as-a-service configurations), distributed systems and mobile technologies
Qualifying experience, which may have been gained concurrently, must have included the following:
o 5 years of experience in commercial software application and testing within (a) robust enterprise product suite(s)
o 5 years of experience with data integration and data feeds from large complex enterprise resource planning (ERP software such as Peoplesoft, Oracle or SAP)
o 3 years of experience working with and understanding of Agile Scrum development methodology and quality testing practices
Qualified candidates will have and must be able to demonstrate the following:
subject matter expertise and extensive knowledge with Talent Management software (Recruiting, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Compensation, etc).
High level of knowledge with the following systems: HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and mobile compatibility issues, Linux and Linux scripting, JUnit, Selenium, WebDriver, Cucumber and/or other automation test frameworks.
Strong understanding of UI framework and compatibility across multiple products across the HCM space.
Expert understanding of design, coding and testing techniques.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
