Your Impact at TESARO:

Provide strategic and operational management of program development activities. Lead the team to develop and recommend the program strategy, timing, budget, and measurable milestones. Partner with the development core program team to identify program challenges and risks and to develop propose plans and actions to mitigate the identified risks.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Asset Lead and lead core team to develop program strategies for a single asset in one or more indications. Model scenario plans and build presentations to support recommendations to senior leadership.
Develop a strong understanding of the strategic framework and responsible for translating to Core Team goals.
Oversee and coordinate all activities associated with achieving Core Team goals
Build high-level operational plans for program strategy, including alternative and backup scenarios. Identify all critical path activities, inter-linkages between activities as well as critical decision points.
Lead in collaboration with the program manager the development of program timeline for annual operating plan (AOP). On a quarterly basis, collaborate with finance to support tracking of actuals to budget, communicates deviations and identify variations on a quarterly.

Requirements:

PhD (preferred) or BS/MS in a scientific discipline with experience in leading development teams
10 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with focus in oncology.
5 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary development teams in the execution of operational plans; ideally across multiple functional areas and various development phases (oncology preferred).
Strong understanding of drug development strategies, across all critical product development disciplines (nonclinical, clinical, CMC, RA/QA, commercial strategy and development).
Experience working on late-stage and/or commercial clinical development assets.
Project management and leadership training is preferred.
Requires a flexible work schedule to accommodate program priorities as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
