Job Function:
A professional software development position, the Junior Mobile Application Software Developer is responsible for a range of development and support activities under the supervision of the IT Director including designing, modifying, developing, writing, implementing and supporting software programming applications and components.
This position requires a high level of independent judgment and decision making.
The position is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting all aspects of the mobile apps/components within our growing suite of mobile applications.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
Design, code, test and document mobile application for iOS and Android.
Some experience with Windows and Web software applications is a plus.
Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting defects.
Create technical specifications and test plans.
Create new and extend existing operational documentation.
Assist with maintenance and performance of software systems.
Provide software application support.
Perform and support application installations and upgrades.
Assist with technical aspects of client implementations.
Qualifications:
Varied technical knowledge and skills required in the following areas:
Strong knowledge with the following development/coding languages and platforms:
iOS and Android development HTML / HTML 5 AJAX, JavaScript, CSS & JQuery XML, JSON & Web Services xcode or swift experience a plus React Native or Appcelerator experience a plus Aptitude with the following development/coding languages and platforms:
C# / VB.
NET (ASP.
NET) (or PHP/MySQL) T-SQL Scripting Proficient in the use of multiple PC types, operating systems, tablets and mobile devices.
Proficient with Microsoft office productivity software tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
Aptitude with automated productivity tools a plus.
General knowledge and skills required in the following areas:
Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
Innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces.
Proficiency in all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, development, debugging, deployment and support.
Knowledge of business concepts including workflows.
Proven business integration skills.
Proven analytical skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently.
Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel.

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field OR- Equivalent Experience.
Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry.
At least 1 year of experience in a mobile development role.
Prior experience with mobile and web based applications and systems.
Miscellaneous:
Must have excellent English communication skills.
Must be able to legally work in the United States.
